Fentanyl testing strips will be part of the harm reduction cupboards as of the end of this week. The CCHA in collaboration with BCEHS implemented these stations in the summer of 2022 in response to a need to have accessible supplies for harm reduction such as: sharps containers, condoms/lube, and naloxone kits. We’ve instructed many in the use of Naloxone for drug overdoses as well as distributing over 200 kits at our local farmers’ market and harm reduction cupboards.
Fentanyl kits will be accessible, the instructions and supplies are all included.
