Another summer season has ended....and a very successful one it was. We are back to pre covid attendance! Thank you to the wonderful and talented artists who put in such considerable effort to create unique shows for us to enjoy: Lisa Gibbons, Jane Newman, Denise Drury, Darshan Stevens, Caz Ratcliffe, Karen McDiarmid, Madhurima Braaten, Dayna Davis, Naomi Cairns, Monica Nawrocki, Ester Strijbos, Janny Thompson, Hannes Grosse, Vijen Vijendren, Christann Kennedy. And the 21 local artists who participated in the Annual Members Show: thank you for sharing your art with us all. And to the Member's Show Committee, Ayami Stryck, Bianca Lee, Kristen Scholfield-Sweet, Oriane Lee Johnston who put together a fantastic show, which is no mean feat with 21 different artists to showcase.

To those who stepped up when we needed help: Suzanne Fletcher for consistently being there to help with our Friday night openings, Marilyn Fitzmaurice who stepped in at short notice to do our tax returns as a new non-profit, Randy Louie who did a beautiful welcoming ceremony at our Member's Show, Gerri Davis who brought valuable expertise to our Lease Committee, Ayami, Kristen, John Shook, Bruce Stryck and Alex Jordan, our tent angels, who took the tent down and put it up again numerous times in windy conditions. We so appreciate all the assistance and support.

And, of course, thank you to the Board who kept it all going and are continuing to think of new things to do. Ayami Stryck, Janet Turpin, Kristen Scholfield-Sweet, Lynne Barker, Meinsje Vlaming, Oriane Lee Johnston. And our Gallery Manager, Bianca Lee, who kept the season humming along.

And a big Thank You to the Cortes Community who showed up and donated and renewed memberships and bought art; we do this for you and could not do it without you.

The summer season may be over, but the Gallery still has projects in the works.....stay tuned...
