The Free Store is returning to its winter schedule and will be open the same days as the Recycling Centre. We are no longer open Monday and Wednesday. Starting October 5th, we will be open Thursday thru Sunday 9-12:30. Winter hours remain in effect until the end of May.

We had a very busy summer with tons of donations to wade through and process and masses of amazed tourists who couldn’t believe such a place could and does exist. Huge kudos to all the volunteers. Also, many thanks to our sewing goddesses Marnie and Maria who came most Wednesdays, set up sewing machines and worked their magic stitching up ripped seams, fixing zippers, mending holes, repairing lamp shades, and teaching anyone wanting to learn.
