Dear friends, family, and beloveds of Elke Finley,
We are writing to let you all know, if you haven’t yet heard, about Elke’s very sudden and serious illness. Elke has been quite unwell for the past month and after getting some blood test results last Friday was taken from Cortes Island to Victoria Jubilee emerge by Michelle and eventually checked in to the hospital early Saturday morning. After several tests and two blood transfusions, she has been diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of Plasma Cell Leukemia that is producing an imbalance of plasma cells in her blood and overrunning the red and white blood cells. The prognosis and treatment options are quite grim. She is starting a relatively mild chemotherapy treatment today with the hope that the cancer will retreat. Further treatment options may follow.
These are the facts that we have right now. It is a shock for us all and our minds and hearts are reeling with this news. Elke’s two sons Magnus and Trigva are currently with her in Victoria and her sister Petra is flying in from Germany today. Many of her friends have also been traveling to see her in Victoria so she will be surrounded by the light and love that she inspires.
We have set up a public community Face Book page where we will post updates and where Elke can receive your love and support. We are asking people not to write to her directly at the moment so that she can conserve her energy for healing, but you can post messages there she will be able to read. If you are on FB you can search for that page under Elke’s Love Community and also find the community support chat.
In addition, there will be a Go Fund Me campaign starting to support her financially over the next few months and beyond. The link for that will be found on the facebook page and will also be posted on Tideline.
We all know that Elke is a very magical light being and that she will face this experience as she faces everything, with love, grace and courage. Elke has an incredible community of friends and truth lovers and we are calling on all of you to bring an army of angels to her aid.
