Please join us at the Old SchoolHouse Art Gallery in Whaletown to celebrate the opening of “chroma” by Christann Kennedy.

Rooted in the 20th century history of Western geometric abstraction, Christann Kennedy also draws inspiration from the textile and visionary folk art traditions of Mexico, and from the psychedelic popular culture of the 1970s. She explores the perceptual consequences of colour and pattern while also seeking to understand the implications of labour-intensive material craft in the digital age.
