Friends of Cortes Island has had lots of great feedback about the new Room for Rider Mirror Tags, designed to be hung in your review mirror, to help people get rides across Quadra.
The more they get used the better. So this a reminder that they are available for free at: the Mansons and Whaletown post offices, Klahoose Multipurpose Building and the FOCI Office (open 5 days a week). We will also have them on our stall at the Friday markets.
If you are in the ferry line-up and have room and willingness to share your ride, you simply hang the Room for Rider Mirror Tag from your rear-view mirror. If you are looking for a ride, then begin by asking folks who are proudly displaying their Room for Rider Mirror Tags!

It is hoped the mirror tags will help more people find rides across Quadra while reducing greenhouse gas emissions, ferry overloads and costs for people too.
