Focusing on herbs that are sustainable in this biome, we will come together to talk about the wild, weedy, and cultivated botanicals we are currently collecting, processing, and working with. There will also be space to ask questions and explore various perspectives on problem-solving challenges using herbs. Come to be inspired by each other, to share recipes and folk herbal wisdom.

Part of each gathering will be a discussion about a season-relevant topic, voted by the last gathering. As this is the first gathering I propose the topic be 'easy ways to work supportive herbs into busy schedules'.

I want to especially invite folks from toq qaymɩxʷ (Klahoose), ɬəʔamɛn qaymɩxʷ (Tla'amin), ʔop qaymɩxʷ (Homalco) Nations to come, acknowledging the medicines harvested on Cortes are being drawn from their unceded, traditional and ancestral territories.

No one is pressured to share and everyone is welcome to listen. All abilities welcome including newbies!

I hope to see you soon!
