CARIE AND TEAM OF SUNFLOWER FOOD

"We moved here 7 years ago and noticed a lack of food options on Cortes, so we started the Sunflower Food Truck. As of right now, the Sunflower team is Carie, Bruce and Joel. Since we opened the truck, we have expanded and are now selling our foods out of the stores, offering a home delivery service, and this summer, we are at the Friday Market! We are excited to keep expanding and growing our business to suit the needs of Cortes. We are so grateful for all the love and support from our Island."


SUMMER YOUTH RECREATION PROGRAM is starting July 3 - details coming very soon!!


JULIE'S CAFE
Julie's cafe will be closed June 10-22 for a family celebration, returning Friday June 23.


CORTES DAY is Saturday July 15th!
Do you love Cortes Day? Consider getting involved! We need volunteers for July 15th, and before. There are many ways to help including the following:

-Set-up and take-down, help transport items to or from the event. Lending a truck would also help.
-Help prepare the food including pies before and or during the event
-help serve food
-sell tickets
-attend the bouncy castle
-and more

There are 1-4 hour time slots before and on the day of the event. Volunteers who comit to 3 hours receive a commemorative Cortes Day t-shirt.
