Anastasia for Manson's Hall
weekly Friday Market 12-3pm

This week's vendor spotlight:
JENNY OF NZURI BASKETS https://nzuribaskets.com/

Jenny first travelled to Kenya in 2008 with her husband and his family, who had been living and working in the country for several years. She returned in 2020 with her family for another visit, and there, made the connections that eventually grew into Nzuri Baskets. Returning the following year, she met with a small group of women in a remote village in rural Kenya, establishing a cooperative which has now grown to include more than 56 women. She works exclusively with this cooperative, and all her baskets are fairly purchased and 100% sustainably made from locally sourced renewable materials. She is also in the process of receiving fair-trade certification for the baskets. Check out her colourful selection in the outdoor part of the market!
