This week's vendor spotlight:
BRIG WEILER https://www.facebook.com/brigid.weilerBrig grew up in Whaletown and makes her jewelry primarily using handcast copper enamel, a technique she learned from her Mom, as well as precious stones. She also uses powdered coloured glass fused in her kiln, and has original art cards for sale. When not at the market, Brig weaves, spins, creates natural dyes, forages for mushrooms and makes her own soap. Be sure to meet his local-born artist!
SCCA announcements:
2023 SCCA AGM will take place on Sat June 3 at 2pm in the main room at the Hall.
https://mansonshall.org/agm2023/Cortes Day is coming - Saturday July 15th!Do you love Cortes Day? Consider getting involved! We need volunteers for July 15th, and before. There are many ways to help including the following:
-Set-up and take-down, help transport items to or from the event. Lending a truck would also help.
-Help prepare the food including pies before and or during the event
-help serve food
-sell tickets
-attend the bouncy castle
-and more
There are 1-4 hour time slots before and on the day of the event. Volunteers who comit to 3 hours receive a commemorative Cortes Day t-shirt.
