The Cortes Island Museum just added two new volumes to the History Albums folder in our Online Archives database.
Have a look at our new additions! And enjoy browsing through our other History Albums online with printed copies available at the Museum.
One of the new albums is the history of our Cortes Island shellfish,
A History of Cortes Island Shellfish, written by Marcel Creurer in 2009, and reviewed by Cathy Francis. The printed copy is available at the museum.
The other is
The Fossils Book of Fame, written and expanded over the years by Christian Gronau. The book is available in printed format on the Museum's porch as part of our permanent exhibit, Granite and Fossils, curated and maintained over the years by Christian Gronau.
The Fossils Book of Fame was converted into digital format and presented to you in two volumes in order to reduce the size of online versions and to make it faster for you to open and read.
