Dear Parents/Guardians of our September 2023 kindergarten students,

We are very excited to welcome you and your child to our Cortes Island School community.

Wednesday, May 17th, 2023
10:45-12:00pm

We invite you to our Orchard Circle Garden, which is an extension of our classroom. This is a great place to meet up! We can chat on the grass/picnic tables, you can see our garden and visit our fairy forest.

In addition, we will have Welcome to Kindergarten Bags with great children’s books, art materials, and information about the primary program for each family to take home.

Claudia Barnes - Cortes Island School’s K-1 teacher will be there to meet you and have an informal visit under the apple trees.

Balloons will be placed on the fence which you will see from the parking area. Head to the left side of the building to find our Orchard Circle Garden.

Please note that in September we have plans for a gradual entry for K students.
We will send out a notice with details about this in late August.

If you plan to attend, please call Ranae in the school office and let her know
250-935-6313. If you can't make it, we may be able to set up an alternate time for you to drop by the school in the next few weeks.
