Friends of Cortes Island would like to thank everyone who came out to help out at our broom bash at Mansons Spit on Saturday.

We had a great turnout, and a great time removing broom from the Spit and coastal sand ecosystem, helped by a sunny day.

So thank you Ryan, Alex, Elizabeth, Gordon, Lamme, David, Penny, Claude, Roy and Leona!

Thanks also to BC Parks staff Eli and Thomas for coming over to Cortes and joining us too!
