As of February 9th the Free Store will have a new seasonal schedule and will be open the same days as the Waste Management Centre from 9-12:30 for the months of October to May. And will operate Mondays and Wednesdays for the months of June to September for the busy tourist season.

With more days we will need more volunteers. We are looking for people who are fit as there is a lot of lifting of heavy boxes and moving of heavy items. Also you will be on your feet all shift sorting and cleaning. You must enjoy working with people as we are a busy store and it’s important that you’re able to commit to a shift a week and be on time. We are wanting to create an on call list if you do need a day off.

The perks? Anything you want for free, office shoplifting is encouraged.
