2023 January CISS NewsletterChristmas Dinner – THANK YOU!A big THANK YOU to all involved in our Christmas Dinner held on Saturday, 18 December 2022, an annual event, interrupted temporarily by COVID-19.
Thank you, the organizers – for your hard work to make this event possible; the cooks, Noah and Izabelle, and the kitchen crew – for the wonderful meal; and thank you, the Awakeneers – for your festive and surprise entertainment.
And, of course, THANK YOU to all who attended this event!
CISS CALENDAR FOR January 2023LuncheonsNo organized luncheons are scheduled for January. But why not come to the Cortes Community Cafe, Pioneer Room, Manson's Hall, on Wednesdays at 12:30 pm, to enjoy the cafe's food and each other's company!

Marnie's Books January Hours• Wednesdays and Fridays, 11 am to 3 pm, still well stocked with books, games, art supplies, and up-cycled clothing
Cortes Island Museum and Wild Cortes• Fridays and Saturdays, noon to 4 pm, both locations still well stocked with wonderful gifts and books
