A true blue Cortesian came to the rescue of several Cortes folks stranded at Heriot Bay and trying to get home for the holidays on December 23. It takes someone with Cortes genes in their long lineage here who knows these waters; someone able to problem-solve creative solutions and who understands community. Though the weather looks formidable, the crossing from Quadra to Cortes was relatively smooth. We were all delivered safely.
