People having been asking us how they can support the Cortes Island Food Bank. Donating Money
Donating money provides us with the maximum purchasing power to build well-balanced and nutritious food boxes. Financial donations can be made in various ways:
1. Direct to Cortes Island Food Bank Association bank account.
E-transfers can be made to cortesfoodbankproton.me2. Tax-deductible donations
Large donations can be made through our charity partner, the Southern Cortes Community Association (SCCA)*. Visit the SCCA donation page at:https://mansonshall.org/how-to-help/donate-now/
And select Food Bank in from pull-down menu.
- Or direct E-transfers can be made to adminmansonshall.org
- Cheques made payable to the SCCA can also be sent to Box 222, Manson’s Landing, BC V0P 1K0.
*Please specify that the donation is being made to Cortes Island Food Bank Association. 3. When you shop at local stores
You may have noticed the new BC Sharing Scan Cards at the local stores. 100% of these donations go to Cortes Island Food Bank. Get the cashier to scan the card to donate $2 when you shop. 4. CBC Food Bank Day
