Izabelle for the WCC
Thanks to all the vendors and community members who braved the elements and came out to the 2022 Whaletown Winter Bazaar on Saturday!

It was bright, warm and festive thanks to the dedicated volunteers who helped to decorate the hall on Friday night and contributed in so many ways, it couldn’t happen without you!

A huge thank you to the amazing bakers that provided us with their incredible creations and to Beth and Anne Marie for making all the phone calls. Thank you to Peter, for yet another pot of award-winning chili. Thanks to the generous food donations and table fees we were able to raise approximately $1,200 for The Whaletown Community Club. This and other money raised helps us keep many of our activities and events free for everyone.

Thank you to Jenny for helping shovel the ice and snow on the walkway to the hall on Saturday morning. Thank you to the Mainroad crew for keeping our roads safe and for plowing the parking lot for our event.

Thank you, John Drew, for the beautiful tree and holly. Thank you, Rod, John, Chris and Beth for your help collecting greenery.

Thank you, Kenny, for replacing the lights and making our hall so much brighter!

I am so grateful for the help and support that I got from the WCC board members. This event would never have been as amazing without you!

As always, I am blown away by the incredible creativity, ingenuity and beauty, that is created on this island. It was so great to see so many new faces in the Gorge Hall for this year’s Whaletown Winter Bazaar.
