If you haven’t had a chance to watch the film our amazing alumni have put together, here it is again—feel free to share widely!

Giving Tuesday is just one week away! Please help the Forest Trust for the Children of Cortes Island Society (FTCCIS) reach our goal of $10,000 to support our ongoing work toward purchasing and protecting this unique and important forested land. Your donations this year will support the fieldwork for valuation and assessment needed for the final stage of negotiations. You don’t have to wait until November 29th—we have already received $650 from generous donors since last week.

As you consider your donation, please keep in mind:

* Your donations to the Children's Forest Trust (FTCCIS) are fully tax-deductible and you will be provided with a receipt for that purpose.
* We are happy to offer a copy of Forest Alphabet: Artistic Visions of a Forest in Trust to the Children, written by our alumni in 2010, to all who make a donation of $100 or more.
* We are looking for a special anonymous donor to boost our fundraising potential by contributing matching funds—could that be you? Please let us know.

Make your donation here: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/19006?v1=true

The past couple of years have shown us that, now more than ever, we must take action to protect our planet. Putting your support behind the Children’s Forest is an act of hope for a future in which children can experience all that this precious corner of nature has to offer.

With sincere thanks!
