Our beloved Lore Mack-Mumford peacefully let go of her body October 13. She die at home with the same grace that she lived her 80 years of life.

These last 4 months she opened herself fully to the healing power of unconditional love... she healed into death. She never had any pain and only embodied gratitude for all the gifts of life.

The generosity of this community was such a support to her... the love shared in visits, flowers, cards, food... thank you!

Lore was born in 1941 in a small village in north-eastern Germany, her mother the mayor, her father a brick maker. She studied and worked as a chemical lab assistant where she met Derek. They lived 7 years in South Africa and in 1974 immigrated to Toronto with Denis age 7 and Leslie age 5. In 1999 they moved to Cortes where she worked at Hollyhock greeting people for 19 years. She unconditionally supported and loved all those who came into her life, especially her grandchildren Marino, Manuel, Alex and Allison, her daughter-in-law Camille, her son-in-law Stefano and her soul daughter Claudia.

Everywhere Lore lived she created beauty, her garden, a candle, her marble cake, her brilliant smile. We have been so fortunate to share this precious time with her.

When she died she left a sense of lightness and joy.

There will be a funeral / Green Burial beside the Manson's Cemetery Sunday Oct 16th at 11:00 for all who loved her.
