MEDICAL ALERT SYSTEM INFO SESSIONI can hear you think: “not for me,” but these devices can be a very helpful gadget sometimes. If not for yourself, then maybe for someone you know. So, we invite to sign up if you are potentially interested in this info session in early November when a team from Lifeline is interested in visiting Cortes to talk about their Medical Alert systems. They are doing a three islands tour: Cortes-Quadra-Gabriola.
We need 20 interested people to show interest for the free info session for them to get their trip approved and subsidized through their company.
We have had quite a few seniors on Cortes that have used this or similar device in the past or at present and for people that live alone this can bring a great peace of mind for yourself and/or your family members.
Medical emergencies and falls can happen without warning at any time, and it can be a great relief knowing that help is always just a push of a button away. Seniors can feel safer and more relaxed knowing they can pursue their independent, active lifestyles and remain in their own homes, confident that assistance is always available if they need it.
There are many medical alert systems available in Canada, each promising to deliver peace of mind. However, not all these systems are the same and they often don’t offer the same level of reliability and service delivery. Lifeline representatives will share information to help you know what to look for so that you can choose the medical alert system that meets your specific needs if that time arrives at some point in your future.
So, give it some thought and if you want to sign up (free) just call Carina at 250-935-6793 between 10 and 5, Monday–Friday, or send an email to Ester betterathomecortesgmail.com.
