Cortes Island Museum would like to thank fibre artists in our community who joined us Saturday, September 17, 2022, as we gathered in the Heritage Garden of the Cortes Island Museum for the last of this summer season creative event. We celebrated the art of spinning yarn for the
Worldwide Spin in Public Day.
We had many participants who brought their spinning wheels and their knitting. We laughed, chatted, drank tea and enjoyed some delicious treats. The weather was perfect and it was a wonderful day of yarn enthusiasts gathering.
