The Cortes Community Health Association would like to add to its roster of support workers for the Augmented Home Support Program.
This program provides in home services to people of all ages experiencing long or short term medical challenges which prevent them from managing some aspects of daily living such as housekeeping, light chores, shopping and transportation to medical appointments. This program is designed to augment both Island Health Home Supports and Better at Home (but use of those services is not a requirement).
If you enjoy helping people, are able to commit to a minimum of 3 hours per week, and are looking for part time work to supplement your income or get work experience, this job could be for you! Prior experience in health care is not an expectation.
A criminal record check and COVID 19 vaccination are required.
