Forestry Talk Meeting - Cortes Island
When: Friday, August 5th 7pm-9pm
Where: Manson’s Community Hall-Main Hall
Who: All Cortes Island Community members ( all ages) who need a space to share their views or concerns about the proposed cut blocks and roads in the Anvil lake area, or who would like to listen and learn more
Why: We don’t have much time!! Road construction is scheduled for this fall in the Anvil Lake area community forest, community voices need to be heard, let’s join together and have an open discussion!

Examples of topics we may cover could include: proposed roads, cut blocks, fire mitigation plans, Cortes CF 5 year plan, Eco-forestry, Anvil lake Fresh water conservancy bylaw, wetlands, riparian zones, streams, newt crossings, drinking water, wildlife, lakes, species at risk, climate change, personal views, old growth forests, petitions, and more.
Everyone is most welcome to join us!
