Hi, I’m Lauren and I can’t wait to see some of your faces! I’m originally from Vancouver but I usually spend the summer months here in picturesque Cortes. I study acting at UBC and love my cat along with me listening to podcasts during long walks.

Hi. My name is Sean! I am a student at the BC Institute of Technology in the Ecological Restoration program. I specialize in reptiles, amphibians and insects. Don't hesitate to ask me questions about the exhibits!

Lauren will be our summer host at the Cortes Island Museum's Main Gallery, 957 Beasley Road. Beginning from June 15 until mid of September, we are open Tuesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sean will be our summer host at Wild Cortes, Cortes Island Museum's Natural History Centre, 1255 Seaford Road. He will also be helping Laura Bohart and Donna Collins with various tasks related to our Wild Cortes . Beginning from June 15 until mid of September, Wild Cortes will be open Tuesday to Saturday, noon to 4 p.m.

Welcome our summer hosts and visit our exhibits. Admission is free. Donations are gratefully appreciated. To learn more about our programs visit our website www.cortesmuseum.ca.
