Long term solution for food security
In this Workshop we go over the process of Inoculating Logs, as well as discuss how to maintain and prepare the logs for their fruiting cycles. All participants will get to inoculate logs and gain hands-on experience on this process. Participants are welcome to take home their own inoculated logs and will also receive an information sheet.

About Farhad: Driven by passion and love for fungi. I believe they can help in healing humans and our relationship with the Earth. I studied holistic nutrition/sustainable agriculture. I supplied and collaborated with Bio material design graduates at UBC and Emily Carr . Over the last 7 Years I've collected and worked with many varieties of wild species and commercial strains of mushrooms. I have hands-on experience in mushroom cultivation and myco-remediation. Currently I am operating a small scale mushroom farm on Cortes Island.
