About the Book – In this number one best-selling book, neuropsychiatrist Daniel J. Siegel and parenting expert Tina Payne Bryson offer a revolutionary approach to child rearing with twelve key strategies that foster healthy brain development, leading to calmer, happier children.

The great news the book offers is that even the hard times you go through with your kids, even the mistakes you make as a parent, are opportunities to help your children grow, learn and develop into people who are happy, healthy and fully themselves. You don’t need to be a “perfect” parent.

You can learn to nurture their whole brain, walking with them through these challenges by staying present and helping your kids feel seen, heard and cared for. The authors explain-and make accessible- the new science of how a child’s brain is wired and how it matures. Offering age-appropriate strategies for dealing with day-to-day struggles. The Whole Brain Child shows you how to cultivate healthy emotional and intellectual development for your child.

About Yasmina – Supporting families to thrive in connection has been at the heart of Yasmina’s years of working with families as an attachment therapist. This has included support through play therapy, couples therapy and 1on1 support for adults working with their own early years material. Yasmina studied intensively with Perinatal Attachment therapist Myrna Martin over many years and has been supporting families through the pregnancy and birth cycle for almost twenty years as a traditional midwife. Over a long span of parenting her 2 sons (24yrs and 5yrs) as well as step children, she has never stopped learning about how dynamic parenting can be!
