CISS CALENDAR FOR February

Happy Valentine's Day to CISS members and all others!

Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels are scheduled for each Monday. Please call Carina6793 if you are interested but not yet part of this program.

• Monday, February 28

Luncheons
There are no luncheons scheduled for this month and no take-outs.
But you can get a take-out directly from Sujon on Friday or buy Carie's frozen meals at the Gorge Harbour Marina and the Cortes Market.

Literary Afternoons
The next Literary Afternoon is scheduled for February 20, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., at Hollyhock. Of course, it depends on the state of the pandemic. We will let you know closer to the date if the event is cancelled.
• Sunday, February 20, 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Hollyhock. With COVID-19 rules in place as required.

Death CaringCollective
• Tuesday, February 1, 2 to 3:30, More details coming in a Tideline post.

Garden Club
• Tuesday, February 1, 7 p.m., Bokashi Composting, Zoom coordinates on Tideline

Friday Markets
• Every Friday, noon to 3 p.m., Manson's Hall

Cortes Island Museum
• Cortes Museum and Wild Cortes are opened Fridays and Saturdays, noon to 4 p.m.

Walking Group
The walking group meets every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m., Manson's Hall parking lot, for 30-min to one-hour walk.

CISS is now present on Tideline! Thanks to Ester’s efforts and CISS Board decision, Cortes Island Seniors Society got their own Tideline page and AD. Please check these two links (below), or just check Tideline periodically, and you will see CISS page in the drop down of the Special Section top menu and in the revolving ads on the right-hand side.

Special Sections – dropdown from the top Tideline menu, contains also our own Tideline Calendar. This is where you can find all our posts and our calendar all in one place.
Main Page – this is where our main information is presented. You can also find it in the right-hand side revolving ads section.

BETTER AT HOME COLLABORATES WITH LANE 8

If you are our client, you can now order and prepay things in Campbell River and arrange with Lane 8 directly for pick-up and delivery. Free of charge or subsidized, depending on your Category.
• You must prepay for your orders at the store before pick-up
• Campbell River only
• Stores only, no pick-ups at private residences. (They have their own Campbell River address for delivery, please ask them for details)

When you arrange pick-up/delivery with Lane 8 you have to mention you are a BAH client to receive free or subsidized delivery.
