FolkLife is described as a semi-annual print publication inspired by lives of wild intention, living on rocks in the ocean. Editor and creator Alina Cerminara and other contributors join host Manda Aufochs Gillespie this Friday at 1 p.m. on CKTZ 89.5FM or livestream on cortesradio.ca.

FOLKLIFE is a premium semi-annual print publication inspired by island dwellers who live close to the earth, move with intention, and craft life as an art form. Evoking fine craftership with its minimalist design, matte aesthetic, poetic editorial, and vibrant photography, the 128-page beauty FOLKLIFE honours art and agriculture, business and creativity, food and farming, and dwellings and nature, all with a goal to slow the FOLK down.

Each issue explores one theme through engaging interviews, stories, photographs, recipes, and artwork, celebrating and connecting those who live simply and sustainably.

Delve deep, listen to the creation and stories, and local musicians all this week!

Call Friday to 250-935-0200 with your questions or send in advance to ufolku.ca.
