Cortes Island

You are an energetic, customer-minded individual acting as a primary point-of-contact to the public. You represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner while playing a critical role in vessel operation and safety, loading and unloading vehicle and passenger traffic, and vessel maintenance. This position is a Training/Development sponsorship opportunity for prospective employees that reside on Cortes to obtain their Transport Canada issued STCW and Proficiency in Survival Craft certifications to qualify for employment with Deck Operations. The successful applicant will hold residence on Cortes and upon successful completion of MED training will be willing and able to be scheduled/respond to Casual Work Assignments as required in the role of Deckhand on Cortes.
