Heavy Rain & Wind

A weather event is anticipated to impact the Northern-Vancouver Island Service Area over the next 24-72hrs. Prolonged periods of heavy rain are expected with totals of 100-150mm accompanied by strong southerly winds.

In anticipation Mainroad crews will be patrolling on all service area highways for water pooling and flooding until the event passes, roadways are clear and back to normal.

Please drive with caution, watch for roadside crews and before heading out, check www.DriveBC.ca for road condition updates.
