If you need something done ask someone who is busy, was repeated often enough, when I first joined the Whaletown Community Club.
Counterintuitive at first, it does prove to be correct, so if you are busy or want to be busy come join us on Sunday at 3pm at the Gorge Hall to contribute to the life of your Community by becoming a member of the Whaletown Community Club. And if you are immune to the corrupting effects of power, then become a board member and enjoy the self satisfaction of volunteering for your community (no perks).
We are responsible for the Gorge Hall, the Old School house Gallery, The Louisa Tooker Library the Cemetery and Avery Park.
We offer concerts, Halloween shenanigans, Christmas Fair and dinner, Plant sales, Rabbits that lay eggs at Easter and a wide variety of programs at the Hall.
That is why we need you, busy people or wanting to be busy people (its actually not that onerous).
So see you this Sunday the 24 at 3pm at the Gorge Hall.
