Miranda Cross-FOCI
A huge thank you to all the volunteers who came out yesterday to plant the Dillon Creek Wetlands at Linnaea Farm. We planted 320 native plants and fenced 100 plants to protect them from deer. We couldn't have done it without you! It was a fun and beautiful community spirited day. We had sun, rain, King Fishers, and rainbows!
Thanks to Mary Lavelle, Leona Jensen, Christine Robinson, Naiomi Cairns, Peter Cross, Giorgio Giovinazzo, Jedidiah Duyf, Katie Hayes, Melissa Rickey, Al Bailey, Syd Marschdorf, Carrie Saxifrage, Elizabeth Anderson, Michelle Venne, Maya Irwin, Caitlynn Pillot, Fred Savage, Autumn Barret-Morgan, Nadia Rezansoff, Tamara McPhail. Special thanks to Lisa Ferentinos for her help with planning even though she couldn't be there in person yesterday. Thanks to Beatrix Baxter for coming out to video document the planting party.
Thanks to BCWF for contributing financial support to cover the cost of the plants.

With Gratitude,
Miranda Cross
