It's an exciting and free oportunity to deepen your knowledge of habitat restoration -- a critical piece of our climate emergency response.
Participants will also get the chance to explore the newly created virtual 360 tour of Dillon Creek that will let you explore the “Before” and “After” the restoration project!
The first day will be getting everyone up to speed on wetlands, so covering the basics like: what makes a wetland, wetland losses & values, classification, wetland restoration and monitoring.
The second day will have several guest speakers from the Dillon Creek Project.
Some of our local heroes will be there:
Linnaea Steward Tamara McPhail, Ecological Monitoring Technician Autumn Willow, and Project Manager Miranda Cross!
