We've had an exhausting and wonderful kitty season this year, all up there are now 100 less homeless cats on Cortes, and many of them found their forever humans right here. At one point we had 13 kittens and 3 mama cats in the shelter and two in foster while also ferrying cats to our partners CR Paws and CR SPCA. Lots of feeding and sweeping, scooping and stooping, worrying, fretting crying and lately sweating. But most of all laughing because.... well you have to see 13 kittens racing around and tumbling and bumbling and fumbling and just loving the hell out of life. And then falling asleep in a big fuzzy pile.
