Twincomm - Colleen
We hope this finds you enjoying the first days of summer. We want to thank Klahoose First Nation, and the communities of Mansons Landing, Squirrel Cove and Whaletown for your support and business over these years. Twincomm has been proudly serving Cortes Island since 2002. We recently sent out the below update to our customers.

Changes are on the horizon for Twincomm, and we wanted to be the first to let you in on the news.

After 18 years with Twincomm our General Manager, Constantinos Tsakonas (better known as Dino) will be leaving the Twincomm team to join CityWest who along with the Strathcona Regional District will work towards a common goal of bringing fibre to our islands and surrounding remote communities.

Twincomm currently has an agreement-in-principle with CityWest regarding the future of Twincomm and our service area. We feel partnering with CityWest may be the best possible solution for Twincomm, our customers, and our team having the support and services CityWest has to offer. Their experience in smaller, remote communities in northern BC, including the west coast, and their aligning mission and values will be an asset to the communities Twincomm currently serves.

Over the years, Twincomm’s customer base has increased to areas ranging from Cortes Island, west to Quadra Island, east to Lund, as far south as Texada Island and the island communities in between. Given our diverse service locations, remote access points and the overall topography of our areas, providing service has been a challenging and rewarding experience.

Constantinos has managed Twincomm since 2003. He has worked alongside Om, Lyle, Jason, Kenneth, Crystal, Dave, Liesa, Debbie with his wife Colleen providing our customers with excellent customer service and an internet service experience you can depend on.

Constantinos would like to thank you for your support over the years, thank his team for their commitment and efforts and thank Twincomm's owner, Mark Torrance. He feels grateful for his experience with Twincomm, which provided the opportunity for growth in the field of wireless communication, the dynamic working environment Twincomm has to offer and for the relationships he has developed with our suppliers, customers and their communities over the years.

In the meantime, you may be thinking “How might these current and future changes impact me, as a Twincomm customer?”

Our desire to remain competitive and continue to provide services to you with no disruption during this time is our goal and promise. Colleen is replacing Dino as General Manager, and he will continue to be a valuable resource for Twincomm. Our tech support and customer accounts team are still working hard for you and are available as always for any technical and account questions or concerns.

From all of us at Twincomm, we thank you for your continued business on Cortes, and we value any feedback you may have.
