The parents of the Cortes Island Playschool would like to wholeheartedly thank all those who came out to support the "Twilight Lounge" fundraiser. A great night was had by all! The event was a huge success, with much-needed funds raised for the Playschool.
A big thank you to all those who donated items for prizes and for sale, and to those who contributed their talent, time, skills and materials to help make this event a very special evening. We especially thank the following for their donations: Hollyhock, Sunset Restaurant, Floathouse Restaurant, Cortes Café, Irene's Movies, Marnie's Books, The Gathering Place, Cortes Natural Food Co-Op, Whaletown Baking Co., Becca's Beans, Good Libations, Brent the Oysterman, Gary & Andrea Block, Cortes Transport, Linda Winje, Joy Shipway,and Bobo Fraser.We thank the following for contributing their time and talent:Gordy Carr,Meinsje Vlaming,Bobo Fraser,Ron Bazar,Terri Storey,Blair and Jim Murphy.

Usually when a fund raiser is held it is common practice to disclose the amount raised. Would you be so kind as to give the community the approximate amount raised in this endeavor.

Scott and I just wanted to say that we had a GREAT time at the Twilight Lounge! The Hall was transformed. It was SO fun and from what we could see, a wonderful night was had by all. Creative decorating, great food, fantastic music, and lots of wonderful people to share it with. Thank you to all of you who worked so hard to put this event on. Please, please do it again next year!
