The busy season is upon us once again. Below are a few simple ways we can all help improve access to medical care, and ensure that everyone gets to see a practitioner on a timely basis, not just in the summer, but year round.
• Don’t be a “NO SHOW”. If you can’t make your appointment, please call and let us know ahead of time (24 hrs notice preferably). That way, we can fill your spot with someone who needs to see a practitioner.
• Don't leave prescription renewals to the last minute. You can contact the Cove first and check to see if you have refills available. Appointments are required to renew all prescriptions. Please book for renewals at least 2 weeks before medications run out. Booking ahead is a courtesy that helps the Health Centre and the patient community.
• We are still in the middle of a pandemic. Please expect a phone visit prior to any in-person appointments. This is for the safety of our team and our community. Emailing photos ahead of the appointment can be helpful for certain conditions.
Please be kind to the front staff! We are noticing significantly increased workloads during the time of Covid-19 and with the summer season fast approaching, we are doing our best, but have been busier than usual. Thanks to all members of the community for their understanding and cooperation. Together we can ensure we all get the care we need, when we need it.
