Emote Cortes,

We have had a furry busy spring season - together with Campbell River PAWS we have rescued almost 100 cats here on Cortes! That includes almost 50 kittens who won't know the hardship of a homeless life. Every one of the cats we rescue gets 'fixed' so that is whole lot less homeless kittens that would have been born next season. Thanks to the many community members who fed and cared for these cats, most of them are sociable enough to find a human to serve and pamper them. For the few others we find barn homes where they can live a long life free and free of worry.
We are having a garage sale Saturday June 12th from 11am - 3pm, all proceeds going to the Rescue. See the poster for more details.
Many thanks to Janice and Peter for putting this on at their home and donating most of the items. They celebrated their recent move to Cortes by being adopted by two kitties from the shelter last February.
