Friends of Cortes Island (FOCI) is seeking a qualified service provider for the contract position of, Dillon Creek Wetland Restoration Project, Monitoring Technician (MT)
The Dillon Creek Wetland Restoration Project is a partnership project between FOCI and the Linnaea Farm Society (LFS).
This is a 2 year contract to conduct biological monitoring and reporting of the Dillon Creek Wetland Restoration sites located at Linnaea Farm, on Cortes Island. This contract includes regular monthly visits to the restoration site, pre and post construction. Responsibilities will include wildlife, vegetation, and water quality monitoring and recording data. The position will also entail invasive species identification and removal.
This contract begins immediately and runs for the duration of the project. The project end date is March 31st, 2023.
