2. Making it on Cortes 2.0. Is a FREE Workshop featuring sector-specific information (offered in patnership with CCEDA, Community Forest & Cortes Lit)

1-2PM Featuring Chief Kevin Peacey
In the first hour, Chief Kevin Peacey will give the keynote talk: Klahoose Success and Strong Leadership. Colin Funk will provide updates on two groups that may be of use to you: the Cortes Community Economic Development Association and the Community Investment Cooperative. Carrie Saxifrage will speak to opportunities presented by the Cortes Community Forest.

2-3PM Breakout Groups by Sector, with facilitation

Sector Breakout Groups during this second hour will include;
Body and Health

Waste, Recycling and Soil 
Value Added Wood Products and forestry-based trades
Restaurant, Food and Agriculture
