FOCI-Miranda Cross
The Friends of Cortes Island (FOCI) is seeking a qualified service provider for the contract position of: Dillon Creek Wetland Restoration Project Qualified Environmental Professional Biologist (QEP). The Dillon Creek Wetland Restoration Project is a partnership project between FOCI and the Linnaea Farm Society designed to benefit the health of the fresh water aquatic ecosystems of Hague and Gunflint Lakes, provide habitat for wildlife, and offer environmental education opportunities.
The QEP contract begins immediately and is a short term contract to conduct biological monitoring and reporting of the Dillon Creek Wetland Restoration sites located at Linnaea Farm, on Cortes Island. This contract includes baseline Environmental Assessment and Riparian Areas Regulation Assessment and reporting.
The successful QEP must be a Registered Professional Biologist with the College of Applied Biologist of British Columbia.
Applications are due by February 26th, 2021 at 5:00 pm.
