About that cat...

Yes...he was our cat, Max, who was hit by a car, on the little hill on Whaletown Road, just east of Robertson Road.
I would like to thank all the people who told me about Max, especially Max (the human being), who posted the notice on "Tidelines."
And I would like to ask everyone to be mindful of that little hill. Over the years, we've lost four cats to the road in that area. I know...we usually slow down around curves; the hill has none, so it's easy to keep the speed up while going for the ferry or to Manson's. But...there may be a sentient being on the other side that you can't see...a cat or dog, squirrel or fawn; even human beings are sometimes hard to see. So..., please slow down. And on behalf of our feline Max, and all the other critters walking along or running across the road, thanks,
