Thanks to Twincomm and Canada Post Corporation, the post office now has the best internet connection available for our location. You can now use your debit and credit cards for your transactions at the Post Office. We can also sell phone cards, gift cards (itunes, google play for example) and other products and services that require good internet service - Yay!

There has been so much support to get us where we are: Insulated floor, electric heater, and hydro meter, carpeting in the back to improve temperature regulation, new and increased number of boxes (some of the locks need improving and I'm working on that), Telus landline – 6341, a cover for the entranceway and of course moving the whole cherished building to the parking lot of the WCC in the first place! And we did this all during a pandemic! Yay! Especially thanks to: Hubert Havalaar, Bruce Harrison, Bill Wheeler, John Messent, Carol London, Tammy and Bill, Rod and Karen Lee and all the folks who bought raffle tickets and old boxes, and others who wish to remain anonymous.

Fundraising for this project, and continued improvements to the building have been ongoing. Thank you to those who contributed hats or yarn to a successful hat raffle. We raised $500 in the raffle. Thankyou: Ayami Stryke, Bernice McGowan, Carole Davidson, Dee Clarke, Donna Nichols, Gabriel Dinim, Helene Racine, and Jo-Anne Thompson

Stay tuned for Phase 2 in March. Bill Wheeler has some beautiful Garry and English Oak trees that he grew from seed that are for sale. They are between 1ft and 8ft tall. Proceeds from the sale will also go toward fundraising for phase 2. Do let me know before mid February, if you are interested in buying some Oak Trees.
