Two months ago, we owed $445,000 in local land loans on Rainbow Ridge. Today we only owe $47,000 Canadian OR just $38,000 USF! This has been a miracle born out of forethought and immense generousity by the many who understand the urgent need for affordable rental housing on Cortes Island.
You can help take us over the finish line, so that our grant application to BC Housing is the strongest it can be, with NO land debt. Whether your donation is the price of a cup of coffee or substantially more – let’s close the gap before the grant deadline on January 15.
All donations will receive a 2021 Canadian charitable receipt from the CISS–Housing Committee. You can donate online now by clicking here:

https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/tidesfoundationWe know it takes a community to raise a village, and it takes a community to raise this last $47,000 Canadian OR $38,000 USF. Let’s do it. All donations will receive 2021 tax deductions and huge community gratitude.
Thank you & happy New Year to all,
