T’is a wondrous season of renewal: buds swelling on winter branches, creatures dormant beneath the forest floor, forest moss breathing in winter rains, Earth’s pause before the exuberance of spring.

T’is a beautiful season for a winter walk; don your boots, gloves & hats and discover somewhere new to you over this holiday season.

We will not offer an organized monthly nature walk on January 3, nor will we promote an organized Christmas Bird Count into the Children’s Forest. However, we encourage all families to be merry, take initiative and go exploring.
