With the phased re-opening of BC Parks and adhering to the Public Health Officers Guidelines we are making some changes to how we operate campgrounds this year. This includes Smelt Bay Campground on Cortez Island. Where we have made the decision to make the campground 100% reservable to limit the amount of people traveling to the island without confirmed accommodation and to ensure that we can accommodate visitors safely at Smelt Bay.
