This weeks meeting highlighted the Cortes Community Economic Development Association’s (CCED) project proposals submitted into participatory budgeting selection process for this year's Grant-In-Aid allocations. This participatory process was open to all island non-profits through which they are coming up with a spending recommendation that I will take to the Regional District Board. CCEDA submitted 6 project proposals into this process:
• Community Investment Co-op Development
• Food Security Coordinator
• Grant Writer
• Online Needs/Offers & Job Board Platform
• Resilient Enterprise Training Series
• Sutil Road Land Rehabilitation
