Staying Healthy in the Winter with Maureen Williams, ND
Maureen will lead an informative session about natural & holistic ways to avoid colds, flus and general malaise this winter and early spring. Come learn about the use of informed nutrition, herbs and water therapy to assist you with your overall well being.

Folk U Friday Talks are every Friday from 1 to 2:30 at the Linnaea Ed Centre. Bring your lunch & your curiosity. Tea provided. All welcome (designed for the 12 to 112-year-old mind). This winter Cortes Literacy and Cortes Island Seniors Society bring a series on health and wellness.

March 6: DIY Probiotics 1 with Norm Gibbons, fermenter extraordinaire. Think probiotics come best in pill form? Think again. Learn the importance of probiotic rich food and how to make…. kimchi and saurkraut. (It’s so important, this topic kicks off a 3-week mini-course. Come for one or all!)

March 13: The Microbiome with Maureen Williams, ND. The importance of tending your inner ecosystem with Maureen William, ND.

March 20: DIY Probiotics 2 with Norm Gibbons. Learn the principles of probiotic drinks and how to make beet kvass, vinegars, and kombucha.
