The celebration is Saturday the 25th at 1pm at Mansons Hall.

This year we will gather in the Mansons Hall parking lot (inside the main hall if the weather isn't working with us) at 11am. We will have some hot drinks available while we gather. The "These Hands Don't Hurt" project will be available for men to participate in making a banner. We will march down to the lagoon at noon.

Once we are back we will gather in the main hall to celebrate Cortes Island Women's Resource Centre's first year with food, hot drinks and music. Food and drinks will be sold as a fundraiser for the Women's Centre.

If anyone has access to a red dress to lend for the event, to carry in the march and place in/around the hall please bring it (and a hanger if possible). This is to honour and bring awareness to our Missing and Murdered Indigenous Sisters.

Anyone who would like to get involved please reach out to corteswomenscentregmail.com or leave a message at 6501.

Hope to see everyone out for this honouring and celebratory event!

We postponed the event until the 25th due to weather - On 18 January 2020, millions of women and allies around the world joined the fourth annual March of Women's March Global, a yearly Event.
